As all the 2020 brides move their weddings to 2021 and beyond, you can have the last laugh and book your wedding on a weekday. Why? Well, my goodness, there are many reasons to consider a weekday wedding, some of the perks include lower costs, and a the coolness of a non-traditional party.
So let's take the lemons and use them for midweek tequila shots.
1 Taco Tuesday, and other fun themes!
Speaking of tequila, what goes better with tequila than tacos? Taco Tuesday is just the beginning of fun themes you can have with your wedding, find a theme and a date that works for you.
2 Smaller parties
A more intimate, smaller wedding means more one-on-one time to spend with your guests. Laugh more, dance more, and stress less about who is going to come and who is going to miss out.
3 After work soiree.
When it's not business mixer or networking event, who wouldn't like to go unwind with friends at a super casual party with appies after work on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday?
4 Your friends and family can book a day or two off work.
There is very little that is more satisfying than booking a couple extra days off work.
Wednesday Wedding? Your guests can book the Thursday/Friday off -- BOOM! -- 4 day weekend.
5 Way more chose of vendors.
Book the venue/caterer/DJ of your dreams. Because you chose an off-day, they are more likely to be available on your date.
6 Cost Savings.
Often times, you'll find vendors have a lower cost package for off-peak days. And to align with point number 2, you'll have fewer people at your event which equals cost savings, fewer people means more time to visit, less food and drink, and way cooler event.
